Paws & Claws Pet Grooming

Paws with Claws is the BEST!!! We use them for grooming, boarding, and day care. They just take such good care of our Aussies while they are there. Especially with grooming… one of our Aussies is a very nervous guy and when we pick him up he seems unphased by the commotion. We love a low stress environment. 10/10 recommend. The owner is awesome as well. She’s done a great job building her business and she hires the right people. *brown pup is the nervous guy*

Vlada was great with my cats! i was nervous since it was their first ever groom, but Vlada was able to get my kitties freshened up and super clean. Definitely would come back here again. The groomers are very knowledgeable and skilled.

I have to say I am really disappointed with this place. I usually take my dog to well groomed pets in Chandler and she has NEVER had an issue. But we moved so I thought I’d try this place and I am so sad I did. I started with telling them that she doesn’t do well around a lot of other dogs, I walk in and she is shaking because she is in a room with 6 other dogs all off leash. Then they kept telling me that she was being bad and that is why it was taking so long. Mind you she goes EVERY month to do this and has never had a problem. They called me and told me that she has something wrong with her so I am now taking her to my vet, but I went to pick her up 20 minutes later than they said she’d be ready and she still isn’t ready. I can’t say that I’d ever trust them with a dog again. Not to mention the place is disgustingly duty. Inches of dust everywhere. Not sure how they have such high reviews. Overpriced and terrible service. Updated. Let me add the screen shot of the unprofessional owner, asking about this review. I am still shocked how they have this many good reviews!

My dog has been going here for quite some time now. This was one of the worst grooming experiences I’ve ever had. My dog was shaved down without my consent, with zero communication from the groomer or staff. There was no phone call, no message, no discussion — just a drastic, unauthorized cut that completely changed his appearance. I was absolutely heartbroken when I saw him. We have holiday photos coming up, and now he looks nothing like himself. This situation caused me real emotional distress and could have easily been avoided with basic communication. A reputable groomer should ALWAYS get approval before shaving a dog. That didn’t happen here. Maybe the new groomers need more training. I would strongly caution other pet owners before using this business at this point. The picture on bottom is the cut he usually receives the picture on the top is the cut he received yesterday 11/16/2025 that’s totally unacceptable!! 😢💔

Love that it’s cage free and the animals can wonder around (even though my dog chose to lay in crate!) super friendly, send you a picture of your dog groomed when they are done and ready to be picked up. I know my dog is in good hands when I drop him off here and that means the world to me.
