Piece of Cake

The staff was so helpful in coordinating and making the cake for my sister’s gender reveal. They were very very flexible with my pick-up date, in which they even made the cake the next day since my sister couldn’t wait any longer to find out! The cake was exactly what I asked for and more. Also tasted amazing :) would recommend!!

Piece of Cake of AZ was recommended to us by our venue and all I can say is WOW. They took my Pinterest dream and made it come to life. The entire staff was so helpful with helping us pick our cupcake flavors (shout out Churro and Blueberry Cobbler for being a fan favorite!!) and made sure we had plenty for all of our guests. Piece of Cake was the recommended cake vendor through our wedding venue, Stonebridge Manor. From the first few emails with Emily Petersen, to the cake tasting and design - our cake looked and tasted AMAZING. It was one of my favorite parts of our wedding day. I would 100% recommend them!

Our cake was provided by Piece of Cake through our wedding venue- Wedgewood Weddings. When we had our consultation everything was great we walked through what we wanted— a small cutting cake for us and a dessert table to our guest. We got to try everything and it was amazing! I called the bakery a few days before our wedding to see if anything else was needed on our end and that we were all set for our wedding. They verified that we were all set and that they would deliver the cake on our wedding day. Well fast forward to our wedding day…. We head inside after dinner to cut our cake and they spelled our last name wrong!!! Super disappointing especially on your wedding night! Our venue notified the bakery and we exchanged emails and they said they would send us pictures of the correct spelling cake for our photographer to photoshop the photos in a few days… a week goes by and I had to follow up with them for the photo. The response-“sorry we got busy with events” and sends the makeup photo…correct name spelling this time but completely off centered and the writing is awful!!! I followed up after this was sent via email and no response. You can clearly tell the level of effort or lack of on the makeup cake. Super disappointing, this wasn’t just any occasion cake this was for our wedding!

This cake was so good, we threw out the tradition of saving the top tier and it became a hangover treat! THIS CAKE. IS DEVINE. We had 3 layers, almond, churro, and blueberry muffin! Each one delicious, moist, and they took all of our reference photos and made our dream cake! We plan on going back for our anniversary and celebrating with another cake! And i dont even like cake! This was highlight of the wedding and people were going back for seconds and thirds! You will not regret working with them!
