Pollack Tempe Cinemas

This is a really great movie theatre. Affordable, comfortable, and just an all-around enjoyable experience. I’ve only been once, but it left a great impression. I’d definitely choose this place over a standard Harkins or AMC.

Tempe Pollack Cinemas offers a friendly, clean, and welcoming environment that makes movie nights extra enjoyable. Ticket and concession prices are refreshingly affordable, and the theaters themselves are spotless with comfortable seating. The lobby is filled with life-sized statues of iconic movie characters—perfect for fun photo ops—and the staff is kind and patient, even with kids who want to get up close to the displays. There’s also a small arcade, plenty of seating areas, and clean restrooms for added convenience. And yes—the nachos are absolutely worth coming back for! This theater has a nostalgic charm and a family-friendly vibe that’s hard to find at larger chains.

Pollack cinemas plays classic movies and movies final showing. My boyfriend and i wanted to see a couple of movies that we thought we missed them but were able to watch at Pollack's. The thearters are clean and have great sound. The popcorn was fresh and the drinks were perfectly carbonated. I dont like how some places over salt the popcorn. Didn't get a chance to play in the arcade. Next time I'll bring my kids. Worth coming back to. Oh and the Christmas decorations made the place feel genuine.

We had an excellent experience here. It was clear from the moment we stepped through the doors, that this theater was a work of love and philanthropy. The owner is definitely giving back to the community with this place. The theater itself is like a museum for cinema. Tastefully and impressively decorated. You can spend a good amount of time walking around appreciating all the full size wax dolls, movie posters and props. Everything was very clean, the popcorn was made properly. Not just thrown in the bag and covered with salt and butter. It was made the way you always wanted it to be; seasoned thoroughly all the way to the bottom of the bag. I felt a bit like I went back in time to my childhood watching 007 Golden Eye back on a movie screen again. Absolutely amazing experience for the price. Places like this are rare nowadays. Tempe has been given a gift by Mr. Pollack. Will most definitely come back again and recommend it to everyone.

This theatre is locally owned and amazing. You could have parties & events. They show old & new movies at low prices. Fresh popcorn & lots of food items. You never know who you will see there.The star quality statues come to life.All,president Mannequins, & marines, & various military.Movies are $3.50.
