PXG Scottsdale

Even though a couple friends have recommended PXG previously, yesterday was my first visit. I was in Scottsdale visiting my daughter & SIL and I was wanting to look at a 9-wood. Perfect timing right? Yea, but I was still a little skeptical to be honest. Enter the front door and I quickly realized that I was in a big name store, yet it had a small name feel (mom & pop store if you will). All of the staff were engaging, but never seemed to have a sale on their mind, just creating a perfect customer experience. I wish I could remember the fitter that I worked with, but I do not. In about 15 minutes, I felt like we were friends discussing life experiences and family as much as golf. Needless to say, I was just as impressed by the club he built and I can't wait for it to arrive in a few days. If you're on the market for some nice apparel, a golf gift for yourself or a friend or a new set of club, don't underestimate the PXG group. I'll certainly be visiting the store back home in NC.

Beautiful facility with large fitting bays. The staff is very friendly and very attentive to your needs. Alec was my fitter and immediately understood my game and swing. He methodically, with the precision of Trackman, fine-tuned the club I needed. He was low-keyed, and I was comfortable with the decisions we made. PXG woods are versatile since they can be adjusted by shafts, positioning of sole weights, and changing the hosel lie/loft. You can also choose what Gen Club might best fit your swing and budget. I would highly recommend visiting this facility and even exploring club fitting. PXG can fit every club in your bag from putter to driver.

Blake was fantastic and got me set up with a new set of wedges that fit me and my needs perfectly. Thanks Blake! Edit: Recently got fit by Blake again for irons and ended up with a set of 0317t’s. Once again he provided excellent service, and came up with a set of irons that significantly improved my flight, spin, dispersion, and distance! I even came back to add a 0317X driving iron to the mix. Absolutely top notch experience and PXG delivers yet again.

I opted for the full PXG experience, a full bag replacement. The process was seamless in all phases, even registering for the Heroes program was painless. I had Blake for my fitting experience (session is not the right word) and it was great. Blake's knowledge of the golf clubs and the golf swing were exceptional and gave me a lot of trust in the fitting process. He was patient and explained all the data very well, even suggesting a small change in wedge lofts to keep the gap, sand and L wedge distance spread a bit more even. Clubs arrived yesterday, tee time in the morning! Looking forward to it.

I bought my clubs 2.5 years ago, and the wedge broke. PXG said it's out of warranty for the shaft (true temper), since they don't manufacture the shafts—lifetime warranty for the head only. If you don't stand behind the entire product you sell, then I'm saying goodbye to PXG, too many other golf brands that take pride in what they make and sell. Update, since I can't directly respond back to PXG's comment, I will here. It was a boilerplate response, make it right and show your customers you care about your brand and yes, I’m still on the course with a new set of Calloway clubs, enjoying them!
