This is a must-visit spot in Sedona, especially if you enjoy hiking. There’s a great network of well-maintained trails with interconnected loops, many of which run alongside the beautiful Oak Creek. The $10 fee is well worth it — the trails are quieter than much of Sedona and clearly well cared for. You’ll also spot plenty of wildlife, which is why dogs aren’t allowed on the trails (worth noting before you go). On top of that, you’re treated to some stunning views of Sedona’s iconic red rocks.

Came here for hikes twice with my wife. Really love how secluded it was as you hike outward. The views are truly spectacular as you can see a lot of the main Red Rock formations from here. Trail was well maintained and relatively bug free. We did see some private property along the way but generally well marked. If you are into moderate hikes with great scenery then this is definitely the right place. Just be sure to bring a few bottles of water.

Only had a short time so we took a drive up to red rock State Park. We did an easy 2 mile hike and it was gorgeous!

The park is very nice and underrated. Tons of nice trails and a nice mini museum inside the visitor center. Bring tons of water or gatorade, as the hot weather plus the hiking trails can make you exhausted. Nice scenery. 100% would recommend to a friend or family to visit. Nice wildlife too.
