we experienced an emergency power outage during our recent stay (planned 1-2 days in advance of the outage). staff did not inform us about this at check-in, there was a piece of paper under our door to tell us about it. we were part of a wedding party and not everyone in our group received the notification. there was no email or communication otherwise. we spoke with several staff members before finally connecting to cody, who was awesome and helped us get a night comped -- thanks cody! before we reached cody, we spoke with several staff members who didn't know about it and during the outage, we could not get into our room and a staff member told us "there was really not much else they could do." for the price of this hotel, communication should be top notch, especially in an emergency situation and especially in the middle of the night. was pretty disappointed by that and grateful we were able to get comped. location was good and all housekeeping staff was really friendly and helpful. art and decor was impressive and local to the region.

I attended a conference here recently. This hotel's best assets are the staff - just wonderful! Ken at the front desk was especially helpful, along with a couple of other ladies (didn't get their names)! Our room was clean and comfortable, however, the bathroom needs work. Whenever we took a shower water leaked out onto the floor. Fortunately, the housekeeping staff was amazing and helped us to keep plenty of large towels in our room to soak up all of the water. Very poor shower design. I heard other conference attendees say their bathroom had the exact same problem. The bed was very comfortable, and it was really nice to have a fridge that maintained an ice cold temp. The very large TV was also a plus. We made good use of the swimming pool - it's not large, but it was clean and especially nice to go to at night. There are a lot of good restaurants within close walking distance in all price ranges, as well as a grocery store. Chase Field is also a super easy 10 minute walk.

Rooms were clean, service was kind, location was great for the conference. I didn’t love the construction I wasn’t informed of happening next door, the non natural fiber sheets had me sweating, and my AC stopped working on my last night. The lobby Reno is super nice, but the rooms feel a little dated especially the bathroom.

It was a pleasant place to stay. The lobby and staff were excellent. The rooms were lack luster. It was nice, but there were a few quirks. It's a long term hotel, with no microwave or decent sized fridges. The "desk" for doing office work had no plug ins nearby. The desk and chair worked but was very uncomfortable for a few hours of sitting. The room was clean and comfortable though.

I spent five nights at this hotel for a business event, and the front-desk staff were, for the most part, impressively rude. We were supposed to receive complimentary water bottles, yet every time I asked for one, they reacted as if I were requesting a personal favor that would come directly out of their own pockets. At one point, a front-desk employee didn’t even bother lifting her eyes from her phone—she just flicked her head toward a table, silently instructing me to help myself. Four-star hospitality at its finest. Speaking of four stars, I didn’t see even a shadow of the service or professionalism usually associated with that rating. The hotel restaurants, however, do live up to the stereotype: outrageously overpriced. A sad little English-muffin breakfast sandwich cost me $13, and a turkey sandwich—whose price tag alone nearly made me drop it—was $17. And this was from the grab-and-go counter, not some white-tablecloth dining room. Then there was the truly absurd WiFi situation. Every single day, I had to click through a screen to “purchase” a daily pass for something like $6.90. If you’re a rewards member, they supposedly remove the charge at checkout, but the whole thing is such an unnecessary, outdated hassle. Guys… we’re almost in 2026. Why is accessing WiFi still treated like a covert mission? Even the most bare-bones motels have figured this out. This feels straight out of the late 1990s. The only bright spot was the housekeeping staff—kind, hardworking, and consistently going above and beyond. They’re the only reason my stay didn’t feel like a complete waste. One last piece of information that the hotel seems to hide (for obvious reasons): there’s a microwave on every floor. Its cleanliness is… questionable, but it’s there. I guess they don’t advertise it so guests feel nudged toward their absurdly overpriced food options.
