If you are looking for that specific, authentic BBQ flavor that you just can’t seem to find anywhere else, Rudy’s is a must-stop. It has earned a massive reputation in the community for a reason: the food is consistently high-quality. The Highlights: Food & Flavor The star of the show is undoubtedly the meat. Everything served was fresh with a perfect texture, tender, juicy, and smoked just right. They also offer an amazing variety of tasty sauce options (their "Sause" is legendary) that allow you to customize your meal exactly how you like it. While the bread wasn’t quite what I expected, it didn’t detract much from the experience since the focus is clearly on the premium meat and sides anyway. The Atmosphere & Seating are main area where Rudy’s could improve is the physical space. The atmosphere is just okay, but it feels a bit dated; Given their great reputation and the crowds they draw, the seating and overall setting definitely need an upgrade or another special touch would go a long way in making the dining-in experience match the excellence of the food. Despite the interior, this remains a top-tier destination for BBQ lovers. If you’re missing that unique taste that other restaurants can’t seem to replicate, you won’t be disappointed.

Grant is who served us at the front registers, we let him know it was our first visit and he educated us on all the meats on the menu. although they were out of what we came for Prime Rib, Turkey and Chicken… that chopped/ moist brisket and cheddar jalepeno sausage AND THE COLESLAW made up for them not having what we came in for! We even went back for more coleslaw to take home (Cali) all in all the services was great! The food was AMAZING and the restaurant was NOOOOOOOIIIIIIICCCCCEEEE they didn’t have roaches or anything (movie line from nobody’s fool) Highly recommend Rudy’s they doin’ BBq riiiight!!!

Rudy's has been my hands down favorite BBQ spot to visit when I'm in Arizona. The food has been consistent every visit. The restaurant has an old country vibe and the staff have always been awsome.

We ate at Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q located at 7300 W Chandler Blvd, Chandler, AZ 85226 on a Sunday evening. We walked in the front door and were a little confused about where to go. An area that looks like it might be a gift shop was immediately to our left and it looked that’s where we should go to order food, but it just didn’t seem right, so we walked by it and then could see the counter in the back to the left. We looked at the menu board and didn’t see any way to order a full meal; only the meat dishes, side dishes, and drinks separately. The employee behind the counter confirmed that this is how it works. We ordered two Brisket Sandwiches and potato salad. The employee advised us to step to the refrigerated cooler to our left for cold sides. We grabbed the middle sized container for both of us to share, which the receipt shows as 1 pint. We also took two of the smallest sized drink cups from the stacks, which the receipt shows as medium. The total was $33.49. Our sandwiches were prepared behind the counter and presented to us in a carrying tray. We walked toward the drink station and poured lemonade in our cups. Adjacent to the drink station was an island with straws and plastic utensils. We looked around for barbecue sauce and an employee told us that we could find some at every table. We sat down at a table and dug into the food. The sandwiches were tasty and the potato salad was well-chilled. One of the other tables had two young children whose parents allowed to run and scream freely about the area. We can’t hold that against the restaurant, but it did take away from the dining experience. Another thing we didn’t care for was the music playing on the overhead speaker system which was from the country music genre. We’re not knocking it, but we just don’t care for that style of music.

Very disappointing! We were recently at the Rudy’s in Gilbert which was excellent but this Chandler location did not live up to our expectations. We both had pork sandwiches. We tried the Sissy Barbacue sauce. It tasted more like salt and vinegar than barbecue sauce. We had to exchange the carton on coleslaw because it had virtually no dressing in it. The sandwich tasted bland in addition to the lousy taste of the barbecue sauce. We won’t be back to this location even though we are very close to it.
