Saguaro Lake Marina

I rented the smallest pontoon boat. There was only two of us so plenty of room. Top speed was 14mph. As it was the week before Thanksgiving and the weather was way colder than normal all we did was go cruising. Boat ran fine. We used a little over 2 gallons for our two hour rental. Saguaro lake is absolutely beautiful. A different look from Lake Powell but very nice for only 45 minutes from central phx.

We had the most amazing family day out at Saguaro Lake! Thanks to a friend at the marina, we were able to rent a boat for next to nothing, which made it even more special. Cruising on the water together as a family was unforgettable—we even spotted a bald eagle soaring above us, which felt magical. The kids had an absolute blast tubing behind the boat, and the whole day was filled with laughter, sunshine, and memories we’ll never forget. Saguaro Lake is such a beautiful spot, and today’s experience reminded us just how lucky we are to have it so close. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly adventure!

The sunset and sound of the water will make you forget you are in the middle of a dessert 😅. I loved fishing here and will be going here more often with the family!

Parking lot for the marina gets super crowded quick especially in warmer months; they do have accessible spots. The marina itself is nice; they have wooden docks to access your boat, and there is accessible paved sidewalk. The marina has a restaurant too (temporarily closed for now) which is on its second floor. There's also clean restrooms on the second floors. Not as big or up-to-date as other marinas in Arizona, but nice views of the lake and canyons from the marina.

We did a large group boat rental here and the process was super easy! We booked online and check in was fast and smooth. Lots of parking! Just follow the sign for Marina for free parking instead of through the Tonto National Forest cause that charges. The lake is beautiful and it was very scenic.
