A scenic 8.2-mile round trip hike through Bear Canyon in Sabino Canyon Recreation Area to a series of cascading waterfalls and pools. Multiple creek crossings required. One of Tucson's most rewarding hikes when water is flowing after rains.

Seven Falls Trail was absolutely worth it. The hike itself is beautiful from start to finish — classic Sonoran desert scenery, towering canyon walls, and just enough elevation to make it feel like you earned the view without being overwhelming. The payoff at the end with the waterfalls cascading down the rock face is stunning, especially against the desert backdrop. It’s such a unique contrast — lush water tucked inside rugged Arizona terrain. The trail is well-maintained and easy to follow, but still feels adventurous. I’d definitely recommend going earlier in the day to avoid heat and crowds. One of the best hikes I’ve done in the Tucson area. We’ll be back.

This is must do hike! Took us roughly 3 hours. Make sure you have adequate sun light time to get back and go the entire trail the end is so worth it but you’re going to want to chill at the end for a bit.

Really a beautiful place to visit, especially on a hot day after a heavy rain. Be sure to bring potable water with you as there can be a bit of a hike. You should not drink the water from the falls/stream. I love to visit t here after a monsoon rain! We hiked to the lower section. If you park at the second parking spot up the hill a bit more, you can go directly to the Falls without much of a hike. ENJOY! ;)

It would have been pleasant to see the waterfall, but I was content with the pools still reflections. I started at sabino rec and made my way to bear canyon toward seven falls. It's all shade in the early AM. The pathing is magnificent. You can shuttle in, but I recommend hiking in as bear caynon's trail runs parallel to the paved road. This trail is one of the best in Tucson.

Loved this hike to the falls, just a little water was flowing and it was amazing
