Awesome lake, great for views, hiking, camping, small boats, kayaks, paddle boards, swimming and fishing! Clear clean water, lots of birds and squirrels, and other amenities! Right by a main road but still feels quiet and tranquil! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because people fishing need to do a better job of picking up trash and old unusable or broken line.

The road getting to the fishing dock was a bit bumpy, so drive carefully. We had friends helping our grandson (8) figure out fishing. The dock was steady and uncrowded a perfect spot to learn. As luck would have it, they were rewarded with a couple of nice fish.

My visit today was an eye opener as for the repercussions of the lake being drained leaving this once beautiful lake depressing!

It was actually really strange.The people were not extremely friendly.It was very dirty and I think the water was just really low.Maybe that added to the dirtiness of it are the feeling that it was dirty but it was also a very hot day.. It was nice to walk there with my dog.But it was actually too hot for him too but that's just the area.. The people did not seem friendly to each other and not very kind and not veryinviting
