Spinato's Pizzeria - Tempe

We really enjoyed this great little pizza place! It was next door to our hotel and very convenient for an evening meal after a long day. They were a little busy for dinner and we had a 20 minute wait, but it was worth it. My biggest gripe was where they sat us, it was a dinner date, just my wife and I, but the put us at a shared bar table with other parties, and even squeezed a third party onto our table in the middle of us and the other couple already sitting at the table. That intruded onto our nice date. Other than that, I was impressed with the food and service. We shared a family size dinner salad and added chicken which we almost completely finished. The presentation was much better than expected, the watermelon radishes really popped out and made this salad beautiful. We got the pomegranate cream dressing on the side and it was delicious. I’d totally recommend this salad to everyone. Then we each ordered personal pizza, my wife got the traditional margarita and I got the Veg Out with ham and cauliflower crust. Both were amazing and we enjoyed them very much. My wife also got a side of ranch dressing for her pizza and it was surprisingly tasty also. Overall great experience, just watch out for the hostess cramming too many people together on one table.

This is my favorite place to eat pizza. Exceptional taste. We tried to ask the staff about the sauce ingredients, but they told us it’s a secret. No one knows it but 3 people haha. Try their veggie pizza. We tried the one that is topped with Italian beef but we didn’t like it. We also tried their fettuccine and tiramisu and they were good, but not as wow as their pizzas. What I liked also about Spinato’s is the owner. He is so friendly. He walks around the tables/customers, welcome them and ask them about their experience/feed back. We have been in Spinato’s more than 6-7 times. We visited their branch in both Tempe and Chandler. The one in Tempe has a large terrace. You can enjoy the nice winter of Arizona while having your pizza. The one in Chandler have a party area. Clean toilets/ free parking. Extremely recommended. Wish them all the best.

This is our favorite pizza amd wings spot in Arizona! We love the ingredients, which we do buy at the grocery store as well because we love it. We typically order the Strawberry Gorgonzola salad, plain wings, and a large meatball pizza. Our children love this place too. We order a large pizza because you can save the pizza for leftovers and it is still great. Drinks.and cocktails are all winners just depends on your taste. Atmosphere is crowded but there's a reason - the food and service a spot on! Make reservations on Friday and Saturday nights otherwise you will regret not doing so. Its a hotspot! The bar area is nice too. We like to go to the one in Tempe, AZ (Rio Solado Pkwy) great service friendly workers. They work hard and are professional 👏 👌

Spinato’s Family Pizzeria at Tempe Marketplace is my second favorite pizza joint, just behind Barro’s Pizza, and it’s easy to see why. This spot nails it with a great location, offering plenty of parking and seating indoors and outdoors. The interiors are a standout, with stylish lighting and thoughtful design creating a warm, inviting vibe. The clean restrooms add to the comfort, and the welcoming hospitality and great service make every visit a pleasure. The customized pizza options deliver fantastic pies, bursting with flavor, and the home brew beer is a tasty complement. A wide range of appetizers keeps things interesting, perfect for sharing. Bar seating adds a fun option for solo diners or those wanting a lively atmosphere. It’s a pretty cool place to chill out with friends, offering a relaxed yet vibrant setting for group hangouts. Spinato’s is a gem for pizza lovers seeking quality food and a great time!

The atmosphere is really nice, big tall windows let in a lot of light. Lots of tables and cool vibe. The patios are nice too. Our service was good, everyone was friendly. The food was just ok. I did not like the marinara, which was on every thing. It was far too sweet and was off putting. The gelato was super good and the cheesy garlic bread was yummy.
