Sportsmans Warehouse Surprise

Everything you could possibly need for outdoor activities. What ever you're into they probably have it. Large selection of hunting and fishing gear. Camping gear. A large selection of guns and accessories. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Spent a few hours in the store making a purchase the staff made the process very smooth and enjoyable. one of my new favorite place to shop here in Surprise.

The store is nice and I’m a fan of Sportsman’s warehouse as a company. I’ve always been treated well. Decided to check out the new location. I am a fishing shopper only. The fishing department selection is extremely limited in comparison to other Sportsman’s warehouse locations, bass pro, scheels, etc… the singular row pictured is ALL they have for bait. There are a couple more shelves for rods, reels, line, tackle, etc. I’ll check back in 6 months to see if they expand the selection but for now I’ll continue to frequent other locations and companies.

Glad to have a sportsman’s warehouse in surprise! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and that’s why I gave it 4 stars. I’m a fishing shopper only, and I have to say, the selection of fishing gear is extremely limited. The sportsman’s in Avondale has a way better selection of rods and lures, as this year, they added even more to their fishing section. I would recommend the sportsman’s in Avondale if you are a fishing shopper only. Overall, the store is clean, and they have a real abundance of hunting and camping gear! Hopefully more fishing tackle is added next year

Why you should go to Sportsman's Warehouse: They have a few locations in the valley and they are all great. This one is their newest. I was there on opening day and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Not very many customers were inside store yet, which I liked cause it made it easy to move thru the store.and speak with staff and vendors. The store was set up very well, with a lot of inventory throughout the store. Didn't seem to have a lot of price specials on for a grand opening. Again, the staff was very nice, asking if I needed help in every department I visited. I simply went to check out the Grand opening. I live about 7 minutes from the Sportsman's that I regularly go to, which is N.27th ave by Costco. I did purchase a couple of hunting and shooting items that was on sale. Always a good value on those that I've noticed. I highly recommend to visit any Sportsman's Warehouse when you're in need of outdoor gear. My overall experience was fantastic.

I Came into this store wanting to buy a new fishing reel I walked around the fishing section for probably 20 minutes. No one acknowledged me or said hello. I had to find an employee and ask for help with the fishing reels. I wanted to see if they had a specifics size in stock - he was an older gentleman. After I asked him for help he kind of acted like he didn’t want to help me. He used his little radio and asked if anyone could help me and the reply we got back was “why” so he then asked me what was my question and at that point I was getting mad. Like I already told you what my questions was. another employee came over and asked what was going on and seemed to actually want to help. He was a younger guy with glasses I wish I had got his name. And then from there all my questions were answered. Like dang it’s was a simple question. I ended up spending $110 on a reel which I really like. the line I bought for $25 was either left outside in the sun or is extremely old because it has so much memory it literally falls off my reel. I will not be returning to this location. - also have to add that they couldn’t get the security tag off the fishing reel at the checkout so I sat there for 10 minutes while 2 different people struggled to get it off saying it was old…. But it’s a brand new store how are you security tags and keys old.
