Stone Creek Park

Cave Creek Park - Sweetwater offers scenic trails, picnic spots, and beautiful desert views. It’s perfect for hiking, birdwatching, and enjoying nature’s tranquility.

Nice biking hiking running trails. Tunnels under the busy roads. Minimal "urban campers". Update: scratch the minimal "urban campers". They've taken over some areas, especially around the restrooms early in the morning.

Awesome Disc Golf Park here the locals do a lot of work to keep it nice but there it's still a lot of garbage from the wash besides that nice park with a cool playground for kids. There are coyotes running around so watch your small pets.

Riding down the trail on bikes during the rain storm and came upon a "lake" from all the excess rain. Awesome sight to see in all my years in Phoenix!

A nice, peaceful, mostly green park with children's slides & swings etc where it meets W.Thunderbird Rd. It's a long space that meanders alongside the creek/wash bed a little bit if you continue South - plus it has covered picnic tables & benches dotted here & there. The footpath continues on to the canal where cyclists 'come into their own', as I do, & take advantage of a traffic free route either East or West. If you're Eastbound along the canal you have a choice to either cross the intersecting surface streets or follow the path through the underpass; hence facilitating a rather speedy & uninterrupted route to wherever you may roam.
