Sun Devil Auto - Phoenix Camelback

10/10 on service and customer care. Was given a written report I could access via email or text with PICTURES of any issues found on my vehicle. They even created a group call with my insurance to get my windshield replaced free of charge. These days, it is hard to find an honest and capable shop, but look no further than Sun Devil Auto. Will be returning for future services. Thank you guys!

I am not a big review kind of guy. But I have to give credit when credit is due. These guys are as legit as they come. Recently I had taken my Hyundai into the dealership on 12th St and camelback and they wanted me to pay over 7k dollars in repairs. I agreed to 3000 in repairs and they didn't even fix what was wrong with the car. So what did I even pay for. They could have cared less. Said I should have paid the whole thing that was recommended to fix. And low and behold it was the motor mounts. They fixed the control arms and replaced bushings. So they say. It was 2200 for labor and and 600 for parts. Who was putting it together some celebrity that charges top dollar. All I know is they ripped me off so I was hesitant to go to sun Devil auto. But I am the type to do my homework. I will call around and see who can give me a better price. So I called AMC AUTOMOTIVE WITH A 4.9 STAR RATING. Took my call. Guy seemed nice promised to call me back and never did. I called several times and never got anyone to help me with a quote or anything. Next I called Kelly clark 4.3 star rating. Now these guys quoted me at 600 dollars less than sun Devil and AMC. But same thing no call back to answer. Now the guy from sun devil Auto was nice courteous. And remembers names. He is perfect at his role with the company because honestly they kept in touch with me. Did a good job the car feels like it's brand new. They don't bullshyt the customers. They only fix what's needed. Now what upset me about the Hyundai dealership is they recommend all kinds of work. The motor mounts were recommended but they were not making any noise. After they did what they did someone pulled rubber from the bottom of the motor mount to the surface of the part and it started making the most rattling noise we thought the car was going to fall apart. But thanks to sun devil auto it's all fixed and better than before. Hopefully you read reviews before taking your car elsewhere. You might end up with unnecessary repairs. They have earned my families business. Thank you guys for the fast professional help. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I went in to Sun Devil on Bethany for replacement of both motor mounts. That service was fine and the price was reasonable. However, they also told me my front control arms on both sides, upper and lower, were all shot and needed to be replaced, "you really shouldn't even be driving with them like this" they said. The cost would be 3400. I simply could not afford that at the time so I took my car and risked it, until I had more money. This week I finally had enough money but decided to take it somewhere else to get their quote and compare. They examined the control arms and assured me there was no need to replace any of the control arms. All were in fine, safe working order, with some cracking of the bushings on one.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP! Took my silverado there for a replacement transmission.. I usually try to my best to stay far far away from cooperate auto mechanics but I keep finding myself continuously coming back to this location time and time again. Not only are their prices outstanding but their turn around jobs even as big as a transmission swap, check engine dilemma, and a new radiator were done so quickly. Dropped it off on a Wednesday evening thinking I wouldn't get my truck back until the next week but I was surprised to get a call telling me to come and pick it up in under a day and a half!! The staff are friendly and the manager was extremely helpful and fair. I will definitely be coming back to this location. Even tho its a lot further than the others.

I have been having service with them many years. Experience Mechanics & Managers. I Bought lifetime Front and rear struts. Few years ago. Had to replace front. Paid for Labor only. Showed receipt. Manager said we don't sell lifetime Struts. I prove him wrong. I received apology from Owner.
