My son and I spent 3 days in the PHX area playing different courses. We played 2 rounds at Superstition Springs. The staff was excellent. The course was in pretty good shape. It is a creative layout and pretty challenging. The practice area could be better. The pace of play was atrocious. In our first round there was a slow group in front of us with two empty holes in front of them. No Player Assistant anywhere to be seen to help things along. The second round was also super slow. Twice, there were 4 groups at a single tee box. When we made the turn we had to wait almost 30 minutes to tee off at #10. While I enjoyed the course, I wouldn't likely return for that reason.

Old school course, a little bit of everything, most greens elevated and a great challenge. Staff is always the best and food is great. Today Harvey and Caleb were awesome. Played as a single and got me off in the clear between groups and went extremely smooth! Love this place.

A challenging golf course. One excellent feature is the quality of the greens. They are wonderfully maintained, fairly fast and very uniform speed throughout the course. The sand bunkers also are well maintained and consistent. My wife and I enjoy the course as well as the restaurant. The breakfast is quite good. Highly recommended.

Superstition Springs Golf Club ★★★★★ Absolutely cracking golf course that’s hitting new heights this year! The layout has always been one of the best public tracks in the East Valley – challenging but fair, with superb greens and lovely desert framing – but what really stood out on my last few visits is how sharply everything is being run now. The staff are an absolute credit to the place: friendly, attentive and genuinely seem to enjoy being there. From the lads in the pro shop sorting me out with a replay rate without hesitation, to the marshals keeping play moving nicely and the bar team knocking out ice-cold pints faster than you can say “fore!”, everyone’s on their game. Hats off especially to the new General Manager, Harvey – you can tell he’s already making a proper difference. The course is in superb nick (bunkers raked perfectly, tee boxes levelled, and the rough trimmed just right), the pace of play has improved no end, and there’s a real buzz about the clubhouse again. Little touches like fresh stock in the shop, cleaner carts and even the music in the bar area being turned down to a sensible level all add up. If you haven’t played Superstition Springs in a while, get yourself back – it’s never been better. Five stars without hesitation. Well played, Harvey and team!

Had my brother in laws celebration of life here. Kiki and her staff were absolutely amazing. Superstition is an amazing place to host an event. Food was great. Really really good. Chicken and carne asada soft tacos with rice and beans. Clean, professional and very supportive. Attention to detail was appreciated. Thanks again Kiki and team!! Mario would have been pleased.
