Tempe Improv

Wow! Just wow! So very impressed with this comedy club! Highly recommend if you're looking for funny comedians, great food and drinks! We had an amazing time and will be returning for future shows!

The Marcus Wiley set was funny and the atmosphere was boisterous...a good time was had by all. The Cucunnber Highballer was perfect.

Took my mom here for the Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson show and we had a blast! Such a fun and comfortable environment. There’s a two drink minimum and I don’t drink but thankfully they have non alcoholic options. Our server was great and attentive. We did the meet and greet option after the show and it was so much fun.

I had been looking forward to seeing this comedian for months. We had never been to Tempe Improv before. I reached out last week to find out how to make sure my husband and I could get seats that were close to the stage because we have hearing problems They told me to be there an hour before and I would have no problem. We arrived one hour ahead and were told we couldn't sit near the stage unless we had a party of at least 4 people. The comedian came on 40 minutes late, rushed through his act, and shut down early because they added a second show for later in the evening. The sound system is not very good and we were only able to hear about 1/3 of the performance. The food choices were very limited. Among other things we ordered French Fries. The serving was huge and it came with a tiny cup of ketchup. I asked for more ketchup and they added $.50 to our bill. It was our anniversary and a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend the food or the venue.

The staff was super friendly! Seating was tight, but not as bad as the location in Phoenix. It seemed like anywhere in the house would have good visibility. There is a 2 drink minimum and they aren't really able to customize drinks (for example, there is a pina colada on the menu but you can't get it without alcohol). Two sodas (not on the menu) will run you about $15 plus taxes and tip. Traffic and parking are hectic, but parking is right by the venue and free. We arrived about 30 minutes early and didn't have to wait to be seated. It's really fun to get to see shows in these intimate venues!
