We stayed here last night to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a magic show. I have to say that this is one of the best hotels that I’ve ever stayed at. The people at the front desk were super friendly. The room was clean and the bed was extra comfy. The part that impressed me the most though, was their communication! In the middle of the night we got hungry and wanted to heat some leftovers, but there wasn’t a microwave or plates. I text the front desk. Within minutes they text me back and offered to send up a microwave and plates. Then the next day I texted to request late checkout. They immediately text we back and offered to let me stay till 4pm with no additional charge! This experience exceeded my expectations and has made me a Marriott member for life!!

The Camby, Autograph Collection in Phoenix is a stylish, modern hotel. The lobby and common areas are beautifully designed and very fragrant, which might be a bit much if you’re sensitive to strong scents. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and everything is well maintained. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. The on-site store was convenient but a bit pricey. My friends mentioned that the coffee was not the best.

I loved this hotel and the added customer experience with the evening champagne and hors d'ouevres with live music. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from a large mall. There is a nice sidewalk with a beautiful tunnel that takes you across the street to the mall with tons of food options. Upon checking in, the staff was welcoming and efficient. I checked in online making the time I needed at registration minimal. The rooms were adequate and clean. The standard size room with the standard ameneties. I used the fitness center while I was there and it has everything needed for a full body workout to include weights, treadmills, stationary bikes, etc. Lastly, but very notably, this has to be the nicest smelling hotel I have ever visited. Me and my travel partner both made the comment of how nice the hotel smelled.

Camby, has mostly friendly staff, a great location, fantastic in-house restaurant, and even a Cartel Roasting coffee shop. Everything was going fairly smooth…we were able to check in early (around noonish) and planned to take a nap before meeting up with friends. My partner was clearing off the bed when he noticed blood-like stains at the head of the bed. I called the front desk right away and let the lady know that there appeared to be blood stains on the bed. Let’s just say it didn’t phase her whatsoever as her response was “Oh gotcha, I see what you’re saying.” She did let housekeeping know and they showed up in about 30min. I informed the housekeeper and showed her. She took images of it herself. Doesn’t get a ton better… the lady let the linens touch the floor while making the bed, including the pillow cases.🤦🏻♀️ Hopefully this was taken care of appropriately. No response about anything from management which is odd IMO… What we enjoyed: good water pressure, restaurant is aesthetically pleasing with great food (forgot to take pictures), great location. Noise levels by the elevator aren’t great. People letting their doors slam and talking loudly in the hall is bound to wake up light sleepers. Overall, they could be better about cleanliness of the rooms as there was still dust on the tables and there was hair on the shower wall (not shown as it was noticed while showering and we cleaned it off)… Perhaps a rush job since we requested an early check-in. However, I believe attention to detail is more important when it comes to cleanliness. 50/50 on returning. Just hope this helps future travelers make an informed decision.

Spent two nights over the thanksgiving holiday at the hotel. The staff is friendly and accommodating. For being in the autograph collection and the price, I did expect the rooms to be a little cleaner. There was mold in the shower and as a nonsmoker, it smelled as if the previous guests smoked in the room. However after one night the smell dissipated. The restaurant coffee wasn’t that good, but the breakfast was very good, about $20 a person. Parking is $40 valet which is charged separately and not to the hotel bill. However there is an AMC theater next door with parking for $16 a night for a cheaper option. Otherwise no other parking. The hotel is in a great location for restaurants and the Phoenix mountain preserve for hiking.
