Learned about The Meading Room from some friends and decided we would take a drive to Sonoita and visit. We were not disappointed. Great vibe as we drove up the drive and strolled up to the front door. The staff was friendly. The sitting area was comfortable. The menu had many offerings, so we decided to try the Mead flight. Admittedly, we were overwhelmed as we had never had mead. It was fun and we left with several bottles of mead. Worth it!

The Meading Room is my happy place. It's super chill, with beautiful scenery and delicious drinks. They have events throughout the year, but it's also a perfect way to spend a quiet Saturday sipping mead and looking out at the hills (and sometimes horses and cows across the road). The variety of mead and cider is good, with dry and sweet flavors, and a lot of different fruits. They have a couple wines too, with Old No. 9 being my personal favorite. They do flights, so you can taste different drinks before deciding which glass or bottle to buy. I usually pick up a few bottles on the way out, for me and to give as gifts because my family and friends are fans of this place too

What a fantastic way to end a holiday break! We tried a flight of 5. The place is warm, inviting and quaint.

One of the gems of Sonoita! We were there for the Christmas market. There were a dozen local artisans, a food truck, live music. Huge sprawling green lawn. Tasting room is hip modern and full of local goods for sale. Meads are fresh tasting with interesting mixes.
