The Mission - Old Town

Wow! I cannot express how much I loved this restaurant. The margaritas - perfect and fresh. The food- exceptional. We highly suggest the pork shoulder tacos and the corn. The service- outstanding. Sonya and Ashley were amazing and took care of us. Highly suggest the outdoor seating - it was a little quieter and still gave a great vibe.

Here on business, reservation for one, didn’t realize how close it really was to my hotel… they took me early at the bar and the place was packed. Bartenders was great!! Great service… had some chips and salsa, the salsa was smoky but tasty, chips were thin… had a Mexican lager it was great, a fantastic margarita and pollo tacos that were savory and just a poco spicy to give it some more sabor!!! Thanks to my son for recommending the place… next time I need to try the guacamole

An absolutely amazing experience all around... service, food, and ambiance. We had Christmas dinner here and it was perfect. Super friendly staff from the time you walk in. Food was outstanding and cooked to perfection. The duck special was so delicious. Great vide throughout the restaurant. Decorated nicely for the holidays, as well. Highly recommend and can't wait for the Gilbert location to open!!

From out of town and first time, dining in at the Mission. I wanted to try the shrimp tacos. The tacos themselves were very good. Did not find the sauce appealing, though remind me of a thousand island dressing type. Overall, a bit pricey for the meal, service was very good and the ambiance inside and out is just amazing.

Valentine’s dinner at The Mission Old Town exceeded expectations. The salsa tasted freshly charred—smoky peppers and tomatoes shining through. Shrimp were grilled perfectly, sauces zesty and tart just how I like. Margaritas were yummy, too. Romantic vibe, great music, and the waitstaff was so friendly. Grateful they didn’t do a prix fixe menu (those usually disappoint). I prefer this spot over The Mission Kierland. Only downside: the tables felt oddly high (I’m 5’2), which made it a little awkward to eat with my SO.
