Family-owned and operated since 1958, The Tee Pee is a Phoenix institution serving a simple menu of enchiladas, fajitas, and tostadas.

This place still has it, hasn't changed much since my family used to go here on the regular back in the 1980s. The food is consistent and the staff is amazingly attentive and friendly. There's so much history on these walls, definitely worth taking a peek around and see some of the amazing legacy and famous patrons that have visited. I'm a big fan of the patio seating, there's always a good crowd. A couple of old fuddy duds, old friends hanging out, or families having a relaxing meal together, no matter where you sit, you will have a memorable time.

If you like old school Sonoran style Mexican food in a lowkey environment, you need to eat here. We have never been disappointed. My recommendation - combo plate with relleno and green chile tostada! So delicious!

Gritty dive-y spot for great Mexican. Unassuming place with friendly vibe. Easily accommodated our group of 9 at a busy time with a quick rearrangement of tables on the outdoor patio. Chips are a standout: hot, crispy, and bountiful. All the standard options plus great veggie options and even breakfast available all day. Highly recommend!

I ordered my food to go in person, and the wait ended up being about 50 minutes, which was pretty frustrating. What made it worse was watching multiple people come in after me, sit down, and get their food before my order was even ready. It felt like the to go orders were being pushed aside while dine in customers were prioritized. I understand places get busy, but if someone orders in person for takeout, they shouldn’t be left waiting nearly an hour while others who arrived later are already eating. Hopefully the system can be improved so takeout customers aren’t overlooked.

Had the flour tortilla cane asada tacos. A little dry, would have been so much better with guacamole. Aside from that they were excellent, waiter was friendly, price was good, clean place, good atmosphere. 8/10 would go again.
