The Velvet Buttercream

Wonderfully colorful displays this Valentine's Day. I visited yesterday and selected goodies to go. The little flourless chocolate cake was high quality, beautiful and so yummy!!!! My sweetheart gave the carrot cake cupcake high marks and commented that the molasses cookie was high quality too. Greeting cards, candles, ice cream cakes other small sweets, even a couple of gluten-free options AND a rewards program are also available. Beautiful employees. I was helped by Quiara who was kind, efficient and informative. Velvet Butter Cream 's artistic and wide selection is breathtaking.

I just happened to see this bakery while walking around, and I'm glad I found it! On my first trip, I went with a brookie velvet and carrot pecan cupcake. The brookie was delicious and rich, which is why it took me a few days to finish. The carrot pecan cupcake was moist and flavorful. If you're a fan of carrot cake, but don't like when the icing just tastes sugary, rest assured their icing tastes very good! On my second visit, I went with the mini NY cheescake and the Scarlet O'Hare red velvet cupcake. Again, actual flavor and not dry. Everything was great, and I highly recommend putting this on your radar if you're in the area!

We ordered a custom vintage cake and the design came out beautifully! It was intricate and detailed and tasted simply divine. We originally got the cake planning to have to freeze some of the leftovers to help preserve it for as long as possible, but at the rate we've been devouring it, I'm not sure freezing will be necessary lol! I also thought the price was fair for what we ordered and received and can hardly wait for another occasion to order again. They also have an excellent selection of other baked goods if cake isn't your jam. Thank you to Aaron, Elaine, and the rest of the staff who helped make this celebration of ours a special one!

Ordered a custom mahjong cake for my mom’s birthday and it was incredible. Everyone was blown away by how beautiful it was and how amazing it tasted. Not a single bite left over. They also came through even though their cake designer called out, which we really appreciated. Truly exceptional service and talent. Highly recommend.
