Located in a beautiful desert landscape that feels like a private resort, but is only minutes from Tucson restaurants and shopping. The resort is huge but we never felt crowded or had a sense of being too close to any neighbors. We did not have a chance to try the onsite restaurants. We were so close to many of Tucson's restaurants that we wanted to try, that we ate every meal off-site. The pools area is well kept and uncrowded. Besides the main pool there is a children's pool, an adult pool, and a surprisingly good water slide. Staff was attentive, eager to help, and just plain friendly. All-in-all a great experience. If I return to the area, this will be where I stay.

We stayed at the Westin La Paloma for 6 nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The service was incredible! Every single person we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Traveling with a baby can sometimes be challenging, but the staff made it easy and enjoyable, even providing high chairs which was so appreciated as well as a pack n play for bedtime. Our room was always spotless, with fresh towels and water bottles restocked daily. The entire resort is beautifully maintained, very clean, and offers so many relaxing and fun things to do. It truly felt like a place where you could unwind without stress. Stunning views and lots to do! We felt so well taken care of and i highly recommend!

Came here to have dinner and enjoy the American Heart Association Heart and Stroke Ball. I didn't stay in any rooms so my review will be based on the aesthetics and the dinner of Westin La Paloma. It was absolute beautiful. The view from the terrace was lovely. You could see the town lit up in the night. A very romantic setting. Outside there was live music playing softly, as to not drown out conversation and a smores bar. I will admit I indulged a bit and had 2 smores, after I dropped 1 marshmallow into the fire. The ball was held in a large room fully decorated and designed for such an occasion. The speakers were clearly heard despite the many conversations happening during the presentation. The food was delicious and the wait staff was super attentive. It felt like red carpet service walking into the ball and I loved every minute of it!

I arrived at this hotel late last night around 8 p.m. after a two-hour drive, completely exhausted and looking forward to the room I had specifically reserved. As a Marriott Titanium Elite member, I am not asking for special treatment; I simply expect the basic service and the room type I paid for. However, the experience was a disaster from the start. The front desk associate didn't even offer a breakfast voucher until I prompted her, and even then, the $15 credit was disappointing compared to the $25 I received at the JW Marriott in Las Vegas just last week. Despite booking a King room with a Mountain View and requesting a quiet corner on a high floor, I was sent to a noisy poolside building. I had to leave my daughter with our luggage and trek back across this enormous, dark, and poorly lit property just to fix a mistake that wasn't mine. It felt like navigating a maze while running on empty. When I finally got a new room, the service didn't improve. There was no one at the bell desk to help with a cart, and I actually had to watch a manager stand nearby doing absolutely nothing while I struggled. I ended up unloading the luggage myself because I felt bad for the older staff member assisting me. The room itself was a major letdown—old, worn-out furniture, carpets that had seen better days, and pillows that had a sickening musty smell. A broken lamp required even more of my time and another tip to fix. To top it all off, I spent $109 on room service that was so incredibly salty it was nearly inedible. Last year, I spent two months at a Hyatt in Korea where the service was flawless and the rooms were pristine without the constant need for tipping, making this stay feel even more unprofessional. I chose this hotel for a children’s tournament, but after this experience, I just want to go home. Look at the attached photo—this is what they consider their "best view." I will not be staying here again.

Beautiful property with an unmatched view! Rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds. I did not think to take pictures of the room itself, probably because I was mesmerized by the view from my patio. Overall, it is an amazing place to stay with every amenity you may want or need. The gym on the property is also phenomenal if that is something you look for. In fact, it might be the best hotel/resort gym I have ever seen.
