Stay here for a conference and the resort was nice! Admittedly I could not take advantage of many of amenities since I was there for work so this review is mainly OK the check in/out process as well the rooms and service. Check in/out was great! Smooth process and the ability to pre-check in was wonderful. Especially since I arrived rather later and very tired. The rooms were very clean, however, visually slightly out dated? This could be personal preference so my review is not heavily weighted on this. The service was phenomenal! Every single person I spoke with was friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional as well. The Asada fries are a must and absolutely to die for. Biggest con is the location which means the ability to access local stores is limited without a car. This means the only option for purchasing snack is the egrigiously overpriced hotel store.

I recently attended a wedding here and I seriously don't understand the hype of this place. In my opinion, this is not that great of a resort. We have stayed in other resorts when visiting the PHX area and did not feel this one measured up to our expectations. The room was fine, but nothing special to me, especially not to warrant the price. For two nights with taxes and resort fees ($50/day for what?) we spent about $800- not worth it in my opinion. It was a King room with an adjoining room closed off by a door between the 2 rooms but we could hear EVERYTHING the guest in the next room was doing; there seemed to be no soundproofing between the rooms. We could see the light from the other room under the door. The blinds covering the front window had a broken slat allowing light to enter the room at night which was bothersome when sleeping. The door separating the shower/toilet from the vanity in the bathroom was a sliding door and could not be completely closed. When we asked to switch to another room, another King room was not available. It was an outdoor evening wedding/reception but the resort really didn't have sufficient heaters to adequately stage an affair like that. They should have had far more heaters than were provided. And when guests asked that the heaters be turned up, they were told they were operating at the highest level which was not adequate to address the cold conditions. I will say that the staff was very courteous, efficient, and accommodating. We ate in the bar during our stay and we were not impressed with the food quality there; it was overpriced, in my opinion. With the exception of wedding reception food, which was decent, we chose to eat all other meals outside of the resort. I doubt we would stay at this resort again, even if we were invited to an event being held there. We would seek lodging elsewhere in the area.

Was invited to an event for the weekend at Wigwam. Check in was easy. Unfortunately they were out of king beds so 2 queens had to work. Room was located close to an ice machine. We had a ground floor with a cute Lil table and chairs on a front patio. Room was equipped with a coffee machine and a steamer for clothes which was nice. Shower has a high head and a handheld. When testing shower be sure the lower wand is facing away from the door opening. When I turned it on I got sprayed in the face haha. The grounds were decorated for Xmas. Unfortunately we were too early for the tree to be lit the lighting is coming soon. Very cool looking slides at the pools. Spread out w lovely water features. Played around with bocce ball. The dinners were phenomenal. The event offered a bar and drinks were poured great. 2 tennis courts and marked for pickleball.

We stayed at the Wigwam for my daughter wedding weekend and the experience was truly exceptional. The rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable definitely a luxury feel. The pool and surrounding areas were gorgeous and made the whole stay feel like a relaxing getaway. What stood out the most was the incredible staff, especially on the day of the wedding when the roads to our original venue flooded and they could barely accommodate the ceremony. In the middle of all that chaos, the Wigwam immediately stepped in and offered to host the wedding on their property. Looking back, we truly wish we had taken them up on it , their kindness, helpfulness and professionalism were beyond anything we expected, and the complete opposite of how The Willow wedding venue treated us. The Wigwam also provided a suite for the groom, groomsmen, and father of the groom to get ready, take photos, and have a calm, private space during the stress. Their support meant everything to us on such an overwhelming day. Our whole family along with all of our out-of-state guests absolutely loved this hotel. We can’t thank the Wigwam enough for their hospitality, generosity, and the way they helped make a chaotic wedding day feel a little easier. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again.

Beautiful hotel with a great desert charm! The property has a fun water slide, perfect for families or anyone looking to relax by the pool. Adult and family pool if you want peace and quiet. My room was nicely renovated, clean, and very comfortable and large (got a suite in my pics, standard rooms are good size too). There’s lots of outdoor space to explore and enjoy the warm weather — everything feels open and peaceful. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. I was there for a work event, would go personally too. 30 mins from Scottsdale. Overall, a wonderful place to stay — relaxing, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. I’d definitely come back! 🌵✨
