This is a beautiful state park. Its worth the time to drive. A couple of hours and you'll be there. Stop at Payson for breakfast. The gate to the park doesn't open until 9. Don't go early. You won't get in the gate is locked and not open until 9am. The little gift shop is quaint.

This is a beautiful park and a very fun hike if you do the loop all the way through. I will say that it is a little tricky to follow the trail markers and stay on trail. There is plenty of rock scrambling and slick rocks down in the canyon so you might want to consider that with little kids or elderly. I seen lots of kids struggling. Being under the bridge itself is really fun and puts the size of it into perspective. But honestly the fun is the whole hike and scrambling the rocks. Such a fun trail.

Stunning park. The travertine bridge is very cool! Basic signage to explain the creation of the natural bridge. Lovely paved path, and also the option to go off the paved path and do some rock scrambling. $10 per person to enter the park. Discount prices for kids, yearly pass available. Plenty of parking spots on a Saturday in early January.

An amazing natural wonder with breathtaking views of the world’s largest natural travertine bridge. The short hikes are steep but rewarding, and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. A peaceful spot to enjoy nature, fresh air, and quality time with family. Definitely worth the visit!

This place is amazing! Highly recommend starting at Gowan trail, down the canyon and then through the underside of the bridge and finishing with Pinecreek trail. It was the most amazing hike and so much fun! Great for a couples day!
