What a treasure the Tucson Symphony Orchestra is to this city — and music director José Luis Gomez is as engaging as they come, making classical works feel modern and accessible to a wide audience. This season’s outstanding program has enrichment for every listener, from masterworks to movie moments and explorations of cultural heritage. No boundaries here either, with attendees ranging from youths to seniors (it was fun to see that the grade-schooler behind me was as enthralled as I was). Our visit was inspiring, and the reasonable build-your-own subscriptions are such a value!

I had the pleasure of attending the Tucson Symphony Orchestra's Romeo and Juliet performance, and it was nothing short of breathtaking. From the moment the first note played, I was transported into the passionate world of Shakespeare’s iconic tale. The orchestra's interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet was masterful—each movement was rich with emotion, capturing the drama and intensity of the story. The musicians played with such precision and depth that you could almost feel the tension between the lovers, the grandeur of their fate, and the sorrow of the tragedy. The conductor did a phenomenal job guiding the orchestra through the sweeping scores, and the entire performance felt seamless and powerful. The acoustics in the venue were perfect, allowing every note to resonate beautifully. I highly recommend experiencing this performance if you ever get the chance. The Tucson Symphony Orchestra’s rendition of Romeo and Juliet is an unforgettable cultural experience that will leave you captivated long after the final note fades.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed your concert today at the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall. We also enjoyed the "matinee" time of it as well.

We have been going to Tucson Symphony since we arrived in Saddle Brook. They're an excellent symphony company and they also do so much for the community. One of the outstanding things they do is provide for young composers to learn to compose music. They also have a significant outreach program which reaches many of the children in the community. That on top of the fact that they have incredibly wonderful programs. Well most of the music is classical, they also have many new composers and more modern music.
