Although I am not a vegan or vegetarian, I loved this restaurant! The staff is very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu options, and the food is nothing short of delicious. Everything is fresh, very flavorful, and healthy. I had the coconut curry with a side of beans and rice--very flavorful. The burritos were also very good. Order at the counter and the food is promptly brought to your table, served hot and fresh. The servers stopped by often and offered to bring anything we needed. Our plates were cleared away as we finished. We were there on a Friday night and the restaurant had live music while we dined. I can see why this restaurant was rated #1 in the US. I highly recommend it for their large menu of healthy, flavorful dishes.

As a Yelp Elite who is constantly chasing down plant-forward gems, I genuinely cannot believe I haven’t written about Tumerico yet. This place is a staple for me. A regular. A comfort spot. And every single time, it delivers. Led by an award-winning chef (and no, this isn’t even her only concept — which makes it even more impressive), Tumerico is fully plant-based, vegetarian, and wildly vegan-friendly in a way that feels intentional, not trendy. Nothing feels like an afterthought here. It’s creative, flavorful, and satisfying in a way that even non-vegans would appreciate. Let’s talk tacos. We had the Cuban and the al pastor — both completely vegan — topped with this dreamy cashew crema that just ties everything together. Savory, layered, balanced. You don’t miss a single thing. Add in a solid salsa bar and you’re building bites exactly how you want them. And the lattes? Generous. Like actually generous. Around $6 and you’re getting full, flavorful cups — matcha, horchata lattes, spicy options, creative twists. Not watered down. Not tiny. They don’t skimp. They’ve also got a rotating selection of vegan bakery treats that make it way too easy to justify “just one more thing.” The vibe is unfussy, colorful, community-driven — the kind of place where you can pop in for a casual lunch, bring a friend who “doesn’t usually do vegan,” or sit solo with a latte and feel completely at home. Tumerico isn’t trying to prove anything. It just quietly serves some of the best plant-based food in Tucson. Five stars. Always.

Always AMAZINGA food here. From an omnivore perspective, this food does not taste vegan. Everything is so flavorful and delicious and the portions are pretty sizable. There's a base standard menu and then the daily rotating menu. I never get to the regular stuff because the daily rotating menu is always so interesting and fun to try! Highly recommend.

OMG…Tumerico is beyond next level delicious I’m sure locals know this, but outta towners need to know it! The vibe top notch, the service and staff above and beyond! The lady behind the counter never stopped smiling or being cheerful! The food, whether you’re vegan or not is the best! The cleanest tasting and plentiful portioned food I’ve ever had! I can see why it’s in the US’s top 100 restaurants! From Virginia with love! I will be back!

Tumerico has earned the honor of being the #1 place to eat in the country. I was invited to eat here for an early lunch, where I ordered tacos that came with salad, rice and beans. Unfortunately, I forgot exactly which tacos I picked they were, but the cashier was nice enough to give me two different ones after I mentioned that I'm not a big fan of spicy food. That was a good choice, because the one with brown meat was my first choice and that was much spicer between the two. The green one, I devoured, loving its mild taste. I was happy that this Latin restaurant had options that sensitive diners like myself could enjoy. I was also gifted with complimentary appetizers, including chips with salsa & guac, along with a bowl of soup. I also tried their Tumerico lemonade that had a little kick of spice than a normal lemonade; I enjoyed it way more than I expected. It's the type of drink that taste better as you consume it, and I was tempted to buy another to take home. The dining area didn't feel cramped at all, and there was a station for more sauces we could put on our food. Of course, I didn't indulge, but the option was nice. There were two gender-neutral bathrooms, which is where I noticed that the walls were covered in paintings for sale. Throughout the restaurant, there were an array of local paintings that guests could pay for; my friends chose one off the wall and all they had to do was pay through Venmo and show the cashier that they were keeping the item before leaving. That's a great way to increase business and support artists in Tucson. I would definitely come here again for its delicious, authentic Latin cuisine, along with their excellent customer service.
