Let me tell you first time here the whole experience was fantastic. From the front desk to the food court service and ALL of the black jack dealers that I dealt with were very energetic a little smart assness and loved to engage with the players. A special shout out to the pit boss Isaiah what a cool dude made this stay very enjoyable. We will be back in March to watch Led Zep Again and doing a little gambling. Nice job Gila River Vee Queeva

Great experience. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. All the staff we came in contact with were super nice. We have stayed at some very expensive resorts throughout our travels but the people here are the best and very reasonable rates. We will 100% be back the next time we are in Arizona. Thanks!!!!

Smaller hotel/casino. Convenient location. Rooms were very nice and had mini fridge but had no safe. Friendly staff. Bars were not very well stocked with normal bar materials ie; bitters, simple syrup. Casino was good with variety of machines. Food choices are limited and cafe was the best choice. Overall experience was good. Not as nice as Wildhorse, but not bad at all.

I recently had an incredible experience at Gila River Resort and Casino, located just south of Phoenix, and I can honestly say it was one of the best casino visits I've ever had. As a truck driver, finding a place that not only offers great entertainment but also accommodates my needs is a huge plus—and this place delivered on all fronts. First off, I hit the jackpot on a slot machine and walked away with a $900 win! That alone made the trip unforgettable, but the fun didn’t stop there. The prime rib dinner I enjoyed was absolutely excellent—cooked to a perfect medium rare, tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. It was clear the kitchen takes pride in their food, and the quality was top-notch. To complement the meal, the drinks were very strong and well-made, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. What really stood out to me was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone I encountered was incredibly kind, courteous, and attentive, making me feel welcome and valued as a guest. Their friendly attitude helped create a warm and inviting atmosphere that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Another major highlight for me was the truck parking situation. They offer a ton of free parking in an adjacent dirt lot right next to the casino, which is a huge convenience for truck drivers like myself. It made the logistics of my visit so much easier and stress-free. Overall, Gila River Resort and Casino is a fantastic destination for anyone looking for great food, exciting gaming, excellent service, and trucker-friendly amenities. I had an extremely fun time there and would highly recommend it to fellow travelers and casino enthusiasts alike. This place truly deserves high praise for everything it offers!

I have never previously had a negative experience at this casino, which is why I feel particularly disappointed by an incident that occurred on the evening of 12/24/2025. I would like to begin by saying that the dealer was amazing—her energy and professionalism were outstanding. Unfortunately, a mistake occurred during the hand. I was paid out on my side bet, but the dealer did not ask whether I wished to hit and instead dealt the next card to another player. The dealer immediately recognized the error and called the floor manager over to resolve the situation. However, I was informed by the floor manager that I was not allowed to pull my bet back and that my only options were to either hit or stay. This ruling was very upsetting, as in similar situations I have always been given the option to either continue the hand or pull my bet back due to a dealer error. Being forced to either hit or stay felt unfair, especially given that the mistake was not mine and I may have been able to make a stronger hand had the situation been handled differently. This decision significantly impacted my experience and left me feeling disappointed. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that it can be reviewed and addressed, as I have generally held your casino to a high standard of customer service and fairness.
