Public Golf Course - Two courses in the master-planned Verrado community

Played the Founders course a few weeks ago while visiting from MN. Absolutely fantastic. Course would be double the price if in Scottsdale. Everyone was incredibly friendly, I can't wait to come back. Just a 10/10 course for me.

My fiancée and I considered Verrado GC for a rehearsal dinner venue. They had a private dining room available for our event as well as a dedicated bar space and attached semi-private lawn area. These were all nice options that we did not see at other nearby venues (although at a significant rental price tag). The staff have been cordial and helpful. We will be having our rehearsal dinner here in December and will be able to experience the food, but so far customer service and ambiance are great.

This is one of my favorite small towns in this area in Arizona and I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch on the patio. I would highly recommend that the management and get some form of Wi-Fi that works in this place because I was going to do a working lunch, but I couldn’t do that because the Wi-Fi doesn’t work and the Waitress told me it doesn’t work for her either. Help!

Fun course. A bit tough. $150 open rate when I played. A few of the tee boxes were uneven. No GPS in the golf carts. Need GPS to determine how far to the sand traps. Pace of play was a little slow at 4.75 hours. But all in all I would play it again.

Played the Founders course. This is a great desert course with great scenic views. Fun and challenging course with elevated tee boxes on the par 3's. The staff was great. Worth the drive out to Verrado.
