The feelings of awe and pride are strongly felt as you walk through the park and the monuments . The Linoln Monument is truly a wonder , and so humbling to read the words written so long ago yet are so relevant today .

Medium sized with a lot of equipment. With the exception of park benches in Ramada excellent condition. Benches need to be refinished. The sign states three to five year aged children. There are baby swings plus equipment a child over five will enjoy. Shading is good and in or next to playground. Parking is adequate. Lighting good. Large cement surface next to playground.includes basketball and ramadas. With it's size it would support activities beyond basketball

This park was a bit hard to find. The easier way to locate is it to search for Step Up School Mesa (right next to it) and this way, you can easily find the parking lot. I will have to say the street parking by the park was packed on an early morning, before 9 am... However, I did not see any other people in the park, so I'm guessing it's just the residents needing some extra spots. The park itself was a bit small, however the advantage is that it has some novelty equipment (i.e. fun twisty monkey bars) and it also is shaded so you can stay cool while playing in the summer.

The play area is gated, there are 3 covered picnic areas with grills, a small field with shade trees and a basket ball court. These are the best things about the park. The down side is that there are no public restrooms. Also, the school that leases the old community center on the south end of the park, discourages public use of this public park during school hours. Yes there are other public parks near by, but none with a gated playground. They don't outright say to leave. But the do strongly point out the other parks to go to. I don't know how legal it is that they do this. I left, I didn't put up a fight to stay or to try again. I am still very offended by it.

It's a tiny park in a residential area. I take my son here because he has a friend in that neighborhood and they meet up to play basketball. Some days it's full of kids and others when there's barely any.
