Scenic trail. Easy 2.4mi loop by turning onto Esperanza trail after reaching picnic area at 1mi. then turn again onto gould mine trail after 0.4mi which leads back to trail head after 1mi.

Steep and rocky but quiet, not crowded. Pretty views from up top. Not overly long either. You can take one way up and down in about 2 miles
