We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort

This is a really cool place if you’re looking to get away from the noise and just chill. It’s literally in the middle of nowhere, which honestly is part of the appeal. You’re surrounded by open desert and mountains, and the views from our top-floor room were outstanding—especially early in the morning with a cup of coffee. Quiet, peaceful, and exactly what I was hoping for. The pool area was excellent. Plenty of room to relax, clean, well maintained, and a great place to spend a few hours without feeling crowded. The restaurants on site were surprisingly good too. We had dinner at Ember, and it definitely lived up to its reputation—high-end feel, great service, and food that was absolutely worth it. We’re not gamblers, but we walked through the casino a few times just to check it out. It was interesting to see, and even if you’re not into gambling, it adds some energy to the place without taking away from the laid-back atmosphere of the rest of the resort. It’s also just a short drive to Saguaro Lake, which made it easy to get out and explore a bit during the day. Overall, it’s a great spot if you want good food, great views, and a relaxing stay without being stuck in the middle of a busy city.

Was ana amazing experience. The whole staff was amazing from Frederick at the services, Dawn at the front desk, or Joe head vallet'. Dealers, heck the grounds crew was amazing. The golf staff was amazing the courses. Yes courses were amazing. A truly one of a kind experience. Very impressed with the hotel but we came for golf, and we're not disappointed. The courses were in PHENOMENAL shape. Greens were extremely fast and rolled as true as the north star. 1000 percent recommend staying and playing. We came for the WM. Glad we stayed at Wekopa. Its about 25 minutes from the TPC for those who want to know!!!

Will never stay at this Casino hotel again. No microwaves in room or anywhere as I was told... soo ok, I'll buy food, no biggy... I went to the cafe open till 2am (not really), that doesnt have anything on the menue but an empty room and no-named rude staff in black mask. She basically said we are closed. They should close it down. No soda /drinks, was told you can ask bartenders... sure, find one, lol. I would have taken water... This place is a joke. I didn't even lose any money, because I didn't start gambling yet. I guess I won't ever start gambling here for the next day or so... I went back to my room... I've Never been to a place especially a casino that didn't want my money as much as this place. unreal. I would have paid $20+ for a sandwich and chips.

The accommodations are a bit dated, but clean, and the casino is fun. I really enjoyed the pools and the hot tubs. So nice and relaxing with the wonderful Phoenix sunshine on your skin. The buffet was ok, decent food for the price. Not many options for dinner there, so be prepared for that. I attended a conference there, and their conference center needs an update. Sound/audio was pretty bad, chairs uncomfortable. Probably a better choice if you're just going to gamble. Enjoy! :)

Fantastic meal at the WKP Grill or whatever the restaurant is called. I had the pot roast, and it made my week. The green chile mac & cheese burger was on point. Staff was friendly, and the manager checked on us. The place was clean and they were maintaining it. Refills were presented without asking. Rock & Roll items are on display, many autographed. The casino itself is always fun, as they have a nice variety of slots. We'll be back!!
