We were referred to Lucio Salazar at Yuma Insurance and he did not disappoint. Richard D. retired in 2019, so we applied for Social Security benefits and Medicare. After that, we were overwhelmed with Supplemental Medicare Insurance mailings from so many different companies, it made our heads spin! Not to mention, all of the advertisements on the television. My boss gave me Lucio's phone number and we made an appointment with him right away. Lucio was very professional and put our minds at ease. He was very thorough and showed us several plans that met Richard's criteria. He explained each Insurance companies Plans, Premiums, Co-payments and Deductibles and showed the Cost effectiveness/ savings of the Insurance company that was right for us! I just retired and needed help with setting up Medicare. I checked with a couple of local insurance companies to see if they could help as the information and choices for Medicare plans was overwhelming. Their services were very limited. A friend suggested Yuma Insurance and Lucio Salazar in particular. When we sat down to go over what my needs were I was amazed at his knowledge of Medicare and the rules and regulations. He helped me set up my plan on the computer, printed out paperwork that my previous employer needed to sign. Now as time has passed everything for my healthcare needs have fallen into place. The Yuma community, particularly the seniors should be aware of this service as it is much more comprehensive than any of the local agencies that I checked with. Yuma Insurance needs to give Lucio Salazar a raise. He was kind enough to check with me later to see if everything was in place.
