Zipps Sports Grill - Chandler

This is a young person's establishment not well suited to older folks. Had to put the hearing aids on major noise reduction. The Focaccia is kind of like a burrito, but not based on a tortilla. Insides tasty, but jalapeno dip was too sweet. Bacon Cheeseburger excellent, but a heap of beef. Two patties is a lot! Bun very soft and tasty. Don't order fries or onion rings. Terrible! Fries are soggy and wilted, and onion rings aren't much better. Atmosphere is loud and difficult to hear anything. Service was Ok -- very nice server, attentive, and helpful, but because it was so loud in there she could barely hear us talking to her.

Place is awesome after working 6/7 days a week we love to unwind and have dinner here, today we felt rushed to hurry and pay but we will just watch the game at home. Food is always great drinks are good and atmosphere to watch the games 10/10. We will be back wish the workers let us enjoy the game like they let others but maybe next time, my husband use to play for the team we were watching that’s why we were enjoying it before we felt rushed to pay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Whenever I see Fish and Chips on a menu, I order it. Living so far from water sources, it's difficult to get a good tasting Fish and Chips dish. That said, others have. So I base my reviews solely on that item, as I believe that a restaurant is only as good as its weakest dish. This Fish and Chips was... just barely okay. I wasn't exactly *sad* that I ordered it, but I wouldn't order it ever again. The fish pulled apart way too easily, which isn't ideal. It quite literally fell apart in my hands. It also didn't appear to have the same shape most other Fish and Chips have, which is fine, but unexpected. The fish tasted kinda fishy, which likely indicates that the fish is frozen (a given). However, it was more fishy than other restaurants nearby such as Blue32, meaning that it's likely this fish doesn't get ordered much. The batter wasn't that crunchy either. I've had bad fish and chips before though, so I can tell this one is just okay. Overall, I'd give the fish a 2/5. The fries were soggy, and weren't crisp at all. This is usually a matter of preference, but I prefer crispy fries. I'd give them a 2/5. While there, I also tried their Pizookie, which was pretty good. I would recommend trying it. Solid 4/5 Pizookie. Other than food, Zipp's is a nice sports grill. The service was good and our server was both helpful and quickly adapted to our table's vibe, making the restaurant feel welcoming. I've heard that their other food is good, so I'll likely be back to try a burger. Just stay away from the fish, or you might be disappointed. Overall, 3/5. Edit: June 2nd, 2025 Came back and tried their burger. It was pretty good and I would recommend it. It isn't the greatest burger in the world, but it's a solid burger that'll taste good. Fries are still meh. That's consistent for all dishes. Rating for Food goes up to 3 stars.

I like the atmosphere and service. I think it's great you can get half fries and half onion rings with your meal. Also, they have the option for a side salad instead of fries, at no extra cost. The tuna sandwich was dry, but I would go here again and try something else... The other food my party ordered looked great.

Let me start by saying if you have been here prior and had a bad experience don't give up hope! We were here a year ago left a one star review said we would never come back but we chose since its been a year we would see If they changed any and maybe it was just because we had the best waitor EVER but Sebastian was so kind, quick and professional. He took our drink order within a few minutes of us sitting and they had our 2 burgers ready within 15 or less. He came back to check on us tho at no fault of his own, the kitchen forgot cheese on a cheese burger, he got it corrected quickly. My husband loved the Scorcher burger with Jalapenos! I HIGHLY reccomened if you go in ask for him and get a To go margarita before you leave!! Yum! Five stars all around thank you Sebastian for doing a 360 on our experience from last year!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
