As I entered the office, I was greeted with the lovely receptionist who greeted me with a big smile and how may I help you as I was taken back to visit with Candice Felix who was an amazing visit. Very pleasant, professional. Lovely accommodating , And most certainly all the other staff was very pleasant. They took all my information. They asked me questions and they helped me feel comfortable and they were very accepting.. I would certainly refer friends and family to this amazing facility.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Steven Prust and NP Candice Felix at Desert Sky Spine & Pain for my cervical neck and SI joint pain, and I couldn’t ask for better care. Both are extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely listen to their patients. They take the time to explain treatment options and make sure you’re comfortable with each step. Their skill and empathy have made a huge difference in managing my pain and improving my quality of life. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking excellent spine and pain management care.

I had a very negative experience with this office. I have been struggling with back pain over the past year and though I had a few diagnoses by other doctor offices, they could never narrow down the reason why I had been suffering from intense pains over the year. I went into this doctors office, was seen, and sent to PT for 6 weeks. I am in the military and called the office to get simple military paperwork filled out by my doctor that would excuse me from going in for drill while I continued to try to understand my pain. They asked me to drop it off, and would contact me once it was ready. I was called not long after to be told that my doctor thought the paperwork needed to be filled out by a military provider, which I told them was incorrect and directed them to plenty of parts of the paperwork that stated it needed to be done by a civilian provider. I was called a while after that, informed my doctor did not understand how to fill out the paperwork. I told her I left examples from my previous doctors and what pages needed to be filled out. It is very important to my health and standing in the military that this paperwork be completed, and I informed the manager of this. She told me that she would sit my doctor down to have this paperwork completed, and would contact me to pick them up once done. I was never contacted, and tried to call 3 times in a week for updates. Each time I was told she was busy and would give me a call back. I was never called, and still am waiting on my paperwork. Luckily, my physical therapist was kind enough to fill out the paperwork even though he is not the correct provider to complete it. I felt very ignored by this office. I have been struggling with pain for the longest time and needed help with this paperwork that takes 10 minutes to complete so that I would not get in trouble by the military. It was a very hard and negative experience for me. Thank you.

I have gone here since referred by NW Hospital after they closed their clinic over a year ago. They really work hard at being on time. I have always been treated well, and my follow up appointments with Candace are great. She actually cares and listens to you unlike other places where you're treated like a number. Highly recommend.

I have chronic pain related to arthritis and significant spinal conditions. For many years, my prescribed medication has been medically necessary for maintaining my functional capacity, quality of life, and ability to work. Without this medication, I am unable to perform basic daily activities. During my recent appointment, i felt the provider to be devoid of compassion and or concern for my long term chronic pain. I found his approach to be dismissive of my established treatment history and medical needs. I was strongly encouraged to undergo another medical procedure and was given the clear impression that continuation of my medication as well as the opportunity to become a patient at your facility was contingent upon my agreement to this procedure. This medication has been prescribed at a stable, therapeutic dosage since 2016, with no dosage increases. I did not request an increase nor change—only continuation of a treatment plan that has proven effective. The proposed procedure does not guarantee pain relief and carries known risks. Additionally, I am personally aware of several individuals who experienced worsening pain following this procedure. Based on my own research and understanding of my medical condition, I do not believe this procedure is appropriate for me, and I am not willing to accept the associated risks. I am deeply concerned that both becoming a patient at this facility and my access to necessary medication is being made conditional upon consenting to an invasive procedure that causes me significant apprehension and may result in further harm. I believe patients should have the right to informed consent and to decline procedures without fear of losing access to essential, previously effective treatment. I believe the handling of my care did not adequately consider my medical history, patient autonomy, or the principle of continuity of care. I have sent several emails to the facility about these concerns. No one responded. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY
