Jesse Owens Park

It was my dad's inaugural visit for his appointment to the Jesse Owens Mountain Park Health Center, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting from the moment we walked through the doors. The staff greeted us with smiles, representing a sense of care and attentiveness that immediately put us at ease. The check-in process was quick, and the wait time was minimal. We were introduced to Jena Chalmers, a nurse practitioner whose demeanor radiated professionalism and compassion. As we settled into the examination room, I felt a swell of relief over us. Jena impressed me right away; she had already reviewed my father's records from Banner Hospital, demonstrating her diligence and preparedness. Her approach was thoughtful, as she began asking insightful questions that allowed her to understand my father's health needs more deeply. She meticulously checked my dad's lungs for any signs of fluid and examined his legs for any swelling, her movements precise yet gentle. Engaging in conversation, I learned about her journey in medicine—how long she'd been at the facility and the prestigious medical school she attended. It was reassuring to connect with someone so knowledgeable and passionate about her work. We discussed the recent changes in our insurance since my father’s previous doctor was no longer with United Healthcare, which had prompted our transition to Mountain Park Health Center. The entire experience left me feeling optimistic and confident about my father's ongoing care. I left the center that day, comforted by the thought that he was in good hands and looking forward to the path ahead.

Mountain-Park Health Center is a very Clean Modern Clinic with modern Technology! All Staffers are Very, Very Warm and Welcoming, starting from reception (Priscilla) at the Checkin, to the Medical Assistant: (apologies, i’ve forgottten her name), and finally my Assigned Doctor! They were all very Understanding, Patient and Helpful! For anyone Looking for Healthcare and Primary Doctors, Please Come to this new Modern Clinic with 1st Class Treatment! I more than Highly Recommend!

Jesse Owens does not listen or reviews the patients charts before speaking with them which is unprofessional. She also follows what she wants without consideration of the patients needs and or what the patient shares. She’s a provider that believes only her opinion matters. Just an FYI without patients you have no employment; start listening, reviewing and evaluating correctly before passing judgment, I can only imagine how other patients feel with severe issues. My issue was a cold btw.

The clinic is always clean! The staff are polite and understanding with you. And the doctors take their time to diagnose you. And explain what is needed for you to get better. I've been with mountain park for years and not planning on leaving any time soon.

My husband goes here but he doesn’t like leaving reviews and since I go with him I thought it would be ok if I left one. He has Dr. Sing for his primary care & I have to say he got so lucky to be able to have him. Dr Sing is the most caring person, since day one after every appointment he takes the time to call us. Some times well in to the night but we don’t mind, I’m sure it’s due to all the patients that he has to talk to. And everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable.
