We were in town for spring training and I was looking for wood fired pizza for my birthday. I found Pizzeria Bianco (and cats) on Instagram and had to try it. We started at the bar next door while waiting for our table. As we sat in the courtyard the cats came around but were too busy to socialize. The bartender was helpful with figuring out drinks. We waited less than 30 minutes for our table although the host quoted 40 minutes. Being our first time the server helped us select a salad and pizza and his recommendation was spot on. The margherita style pizza was delicious with a nice crisp to the crust. The caprese-like salad had really flavorful tomatoes and homemade mozzarella cheese. If you like bread theirs is excellent and comes with delicious olive oil. Very good food for a reasonable price

Finally made it here as a pizza lover, this spot has been on my list for some time. I got lucky there was an empty seat at the bar so didn’t have to wait the 45 minutes for a table. And it was like 2! But I chose wrong - went with the olive oil “Rosa” non-tomato sauce option - the pistachio and cheese were (cheese is very strong), but just too oily for my taste. So proceed with caution. I’ll have to come back for a more traditional option. Also they only have two beers on tap but at least one is a lager! Perfect pair with pizza I believe. The place is small which explains the wait times.

Pizzeria Bianco is always a solid choice and easily one of my favorite spots for pizza in Phoenix. Honestly, you can order almost anything on the menu and it will deliver. It is the kind of place where the kitchen clearly knows better than you, so unless you have a very specific and well tested preference, I would not mess with customizations. Their add ons are tempting, but I genuinely recommend sticking to the originals because that is where they really shine. There is valet parking right at the entrance for ten dollars, which is actually a great deal for the area. Try to arrive early though, since it is very common to wait about an hour for a table. Trust me, it is one of those rare lines that people stand in willingly and without regret.

We visited the Heritage Square location . The wait was about an hour which passed quickly due to the outdoor activities at Arizona Science Cener next door. Our meal started with some warm crusty bread and olive oil. I would have been happy just eating that. The pizza crust was soft and flavorful. We got the fennel sausage on one pizza and pepperoni on another both were great. We were able to find street metered parking. There is also valet and an available parking garage.

Visited the spot featured on Chef’s Table: Pizza. The pizza is truly delicious — great flavor and texture. Salad is just ok. Service is fast. The interior is very simple and a bit old, but the outdoor seating is cozy, and I’d definitely choose to sit outside. The downside is that they offer valet parking only, which isn’t very convenient.
