I went today for a TPS sensor. I was informed by the technician that my front left TPS sensor was out, that my spare tire was flat, and that my spares rim was rusted and all these needed to be replaced. We agree trusting the technician due to not even knowing I had a spare wheel. I was also told that the spare was a smaller wheel. Upon discount tire completing the job. I seen the spare tire that was replaced. It looked brand new. The technician that finished my repair stated that there was nothing wrong with the spare. This costed me $270.46. I would have not agreed if I was properly informed of the conditions of my spare tire. This is not sadifactory the tire sold has not been used and should be taken back due to the technician stating the tire was bad without even verification of the spare. I would like to hear back about how this is going to be resolved? Update 11-30-25, still to this day no response to inquiry, noticed today that Discount tire did not install the new rim or tire as they had informed me that they did. The spare that was to be replaced is still on the car. I inquire again to how is his going to be resolved? 2-826 customers update- A different or incompatible TPMS sensor generally does not physically damage other sensors, but it can cause system-wide failures due to communication, frequency, or identification mismatches. Using an incorrect sensor can prevent the ECU from registering the new unit, causing the entire warning system to stay on. Key Reasons for TPMS Failure After Changing Sensors: Incompatibility: Aftermarket sensors may use different frequencies or protocols that conflict with the vehicle's computer, leading to system faults. Failed Programming: If the new sensor is not properly programmed or paired with the vehicle, the system may show an error. Battery Life Synchronization: Because all four original sensors were installed at the same time and face similar, harsh, or extended operating conditions, one failing is a strong indicator that the others are near the end of their 7-10 year lifespan. Relearn Process Needed: Replacing one sensor often requires a "relearn" or resynchronization process with a specialized tool to reset the system, even if the new sensor is correct. For the best results, it is recommended to replace all four sensors at the same time to ensure consistent battery life and functionality. Can you prove your using the correct TPS sensor since using this locations services two TPS sensors have failed and another one last night. It seems that the wrong TPS sensor are installed causing communication issues with the system causing frequency lose causing failure. I will bring car back to have other TPS sensors replaced. Ford stock states that the TPS sensor used was the incorrect one causing the others to fail.

Great customer service! Pulled in early before my appointment with my daughters car. Adam greeted me with a joyful morning welcome. Verified the warranty info, called my sister to get more info. Called me and communicated what was need, the game plan and info regarding the soare. Was very thoughtful, professional and showed the utmost concern. When I arrived to pick up my car, again greeted with professionalism, paid and was directed to the car. Simple, easy and off I went.

Great service and very quick with air check. They were able to help me get a fast quote for tires and were not pushy about me needing to come back and not do the replacement the same day. Very kind and professional staff team! Thank you!
