PepBoys still sent a text today (10/26/2025) asking I tell them about my "recent service" on a SUNDAY morning? 😂 It was from a 215 area code. That's weird. 🤔 Reply to owner 10-25-2025: I don't think I have anything extra to say and therefore I don't see a reason to contact you further. First of all, I don't know the angry employees name and secondly (since you are the owner) then you have all the access to cameras to review at your will with the names of people who worked that shift/day. Perhaps you can narrow it down. I won't be returning because people that unhappy are a warning sign that something is really wrong and I want no further part in dealing with possible retaliation for sharing my experience. Really, Kenneth is a great hard working employee and the only reason I gave three stars anyway. Good luck. -------------------------------------- 10-24-2025: Kenneth M did a great job of installing my new battery. However, the short red-bearded mechanic (who smokes e-cigs) was so angry, swearing, and complaining in the work bay that I could hear him from the waiting area indoors! He was distracting my mechanic and gave me a nasty look maybe because I took pictures? Thankfully, it was finished in 30 minutes and I got out of there after paying $338.65 for install/36 mo. car battery/ and labor. Kenneth was the only one working the most and he deserved a good tip. I asked Kenneth how the oil looked and he said it was ok and nothing needed to be flushed. The service manager, Jesse Ponce did try to sell me an oil change but I am short on time plus I have extra bills today. Maybe next time but honestly I really dont want to hear Mr. angry red-beard again and my cars maintinance required warning light was never turned off after service. 🤔

Service was quick and complete. Vehicle had immediate improvement in performance and efficiency. I was advised requested work wasn't needed and tech was honest about not having correct parts which weren't essential. Fair price. Done in about an hour with oil change and wiper blades replaced and even blew out permanent air filter. Respectful and courteous. Prompt. Excellent service.

I have been going to Pep Boys for quite a while so far three stores have closed. I think they’re on the way out. The store on Speedway the bathroom is dank and nasty. I called in the other day about getting a tire because I had a puncture in one of my tires I had to have my car towed. The woman on the phone assured me they had the tire. I finally got in there after much ado and she said she didn’t have the tire. I waited for 2 1/2 hours for her to come and tell me as the store is about to close that she just technically wasn’t supposed to fix my tire and she couldn’t find the one she said she had And I told her technically I have to be able to drive home. I had my car towed in here and there is no spare. I have no way to leave if you don’t fix the tire so finally be grudgingly they did do that. Highly stressful. The tow truck driver had put the car in the wrong spot on their parking lot and she just walked out to the car and then came back shaking her head back-and-forth. I was watching her wondering what the heck is wrong while the tire was on 0%, yeah it was flat. And she had no way of getting it into the bay and wanted the name of the tow truck driver so she could complain about him. There’s no way I will complain about that guy. He helped me a lot that day even comped some miles because I was having a hard time financially. I wasn’t going to throw him under the bus let her attack him. I went out there with my little growling tire inflator and got that tire up to 12% and drove it to the bay. I just can’t go back even if I want to. It’s just been exhausting for me. Having to get home that night before was a big struggle and then getting all the way to the store was a struggle finding out that she didn’t even have the tire she said she had then she didn’t want to repair the tire then she wanted to attack the tow driver. Oh hell, no! No more of this there’s other stores I will find someplace better!

Poor customer service. I walked in about 5 mins before closing to get some wiper blades because it started raining. And while I understand they are about to close the cashier laughed and said oh no I just closed my register even though he was ringing someone else up while I was grabbing the blades. Obviously getting out of there 2 mins faster is more important then customers safety. No wonder this place looks like it's going out of business. Sad part is I live right behind them and could have become a returning customer but not after literally being laughed out of the store. Well when they shut their doors for good they won't be missed.

Worst exp ever. Waste of time. They consistently ordered wrong parts. Were unable to repair vehicle after 2 appointments for same issue. They cannot get their act together over there. They don't honor quoted price. They don't even apologize for wasting one's time. No Manager even contacted me. Again, waste of time, waste of money. Do not recommend!!!
